  • Coincidentally, every woman I’ve helped learn to lift heavy has quickly gotten too strong for dumbbells and Kettlebells to be useful for her goals.

  • Fortunately, there are these things called barbells that enable us to continue getting stronger and closer to our physical goals.

  • The rub: barbell training requires some learning, and almost no middle-aged woman was ever invited to learn barbells as young people.

  • The cool thing: now there are women who have not only learned, but worked to hone their skills for how to do and teach other women The Way of the Barbell.

  • This class is your opportunity to get a little taste, and to see how strong you already are and how strong you have the potential to become by learning to use this tool.

Take this Class and:

  1. Gain proficiency with working out in the most effective way for your active Peri-menopause+ life

  2. Review the basics of several compound lifts, including Back Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift

  3. Establish the optimal set-up for your body, and learn form cues that work for your brain

  4. Learn the principles of training that - when utilized - permit you to continue making progress

  5. Learn & practice how to fail a lift safely

  6. Other gym literacy & skills
